Another great organization serving the 10/40 window is Gospel for Asia. They have a wonderful Christmas gift program, where you can buy anything from cows for a needy family to materials for missionaries on the ground in India! Their website: http://www.gfa.org/winasia/.

I love the idea of the trips! Can't wait to go. That will be so much fun. I can't think of anything more "bonding" than picking christmas trees together!

Megan, I don't know you well enough to be sure, but I believe one of your strengths may be writing. Your honesty and integrity came through and encourages me to find my strengths - and to use them! Thanks! Jayne

Megan has submitted the following list of needs for this family -
Sizes for the kids: mostly they need clothes just to play around in this summer; t-shirts, shorts, pajamas. Anything at all would be helpful...new or used--not picky!! I hate to have to say this but they will likely be going to a funeral soon too so something a little more dressy might be appropriate also.
Boy: size 10 tops, size 10 pants, shoe size 2
girls:
tops: sizes 16-18 & 10
pants: sizes 10 & 16
shoes: sizes 2 & 3
sheets or blankets for a twin size mattress
socks, underwear
standing fan (house has no air and our patient has difficulty breathing-fans help)
canned/boxed food (this also is a huge need--maybe even more pressing then the clothes right now)
books
anything else you parents of children might think they could use!
I really appreciate your help.
more than you know.

with gratitude, megan
