The Mission of Redeemer Community Church is to…
- Enjoy Christ
- Love His Friends and
- Engage the World
The Vision
What Keeps Us Awake at Night?
It’s not planting a church that gets big. It’s not buying lots of acres. It’s not having masses of people come to us. It’s not starting a school or establishing our own sports league.
We stay awake at night when… we are thinking about His mission.
We stay awake at night when… we are thinking about how God is presently gathering a group of people who are engaging those that are not yet Christians with the life-changing message of Christ.
We stay awake at night when… we realize how God is raising up wise believers that are providing spiritual coaching to those who want to enjoy Christ, love His friends and engage the world (John 15).
We stay awake at night when… we realize how God is calling people to understand His story (creation, fall & redemption) as a means of launching them into their unique story and specific role in forwarding His mission.
We stay awake at night when… we are praying for God to start a people launching movement that would result in an expanding influence through transformed hearts, scores of church plants and mission-minded people.
This is the vision that keeps us awake at night. Because our hearts long to engage, coach, launch and multiply an army of Christ-followers who will leave God’s redemptive legacy from our city to the ends of the earth (see Acts 1:8).
Our daughter, Stephanie Dilley and family, seems to have found a church they are excited about since their move to JC. From viewing the website, it sounds like a move is on for this church. Good Luck.
